Why Energy.Net?

Simply put, Energy.Net is your ultimate source for weather information for the Natural Gas, Propane, and Heating Oil industries. Why is this the case? Weather is by far the most important factor in driving the price for these markets (especially Natural Gas). With Energy.Net, you get both accuracy and all the pertinent weather information you need so that you can have the greatest possible advantage in these markets.

As you are well aware, there are numerous sources for weather information out there. However, there are often large differences of opinion among the various weather services. The great majority of the services will just simply base their forecasts on the computer generated models and that is the end of it. Not only is the computer model often quite inaccurate, but there are services in the industry who do not even know how to interpret the extended forecast model when it is accurate. This leads to confusion, inaccuracies, and a great deal of inconsistencies in the forecasts from these services. At Energy.Net, we take great pride in our work and have a passion for weather forecasting. Thus, the problems described above with other services are greatly alleviated.

Charlie Notis, of Freese-Notis Weather has been forecasting the weather since childhood and along with Harvey Freese founded Freese-Notis Weather in 1973. Charlie is the one mainly responsible for the forecasts and weather comments on the energy site. Energy.Net was specifically created for easy access through the Internet.
