Computer generated HDD or CDD for 7 days

This small but important graphic is located on the upper right corner of the first page of the early morning comments. It is a computer forecast of the cumulative departures from normal for the next 7 days of the heating degree days (HDD) during the cold season or the cooling degree days (CDD) during the warm season. We caution that there are times when the morning comments will be drastically different than suggested by the computer forecast. But this graphic does give one a quick estimate of the temperature trends by the computer.
