Evening/Sunday Update
In today's 24-hour per day trading environment, traders need to be aware of any changes to the
forecast, plus need to be ready on Sunday evening with a fresh forecast to start the week. This
report nicely suits those needs. This report is updated at around 5:30 PM Central Time Monday-Friday,
and at 4PM on Sunday.

5:40 PM CST Wednesday, March 10, 2010
MIDWEST U.S.
Rain ended in the west by midday, otherwise it was dry today with highs only in the
30's northwest to the low to mid 70's in east-central MO, southern IL, & southern IN.
Another round of rainfall will spread in from the south tonight and continue into Friday.
There may be some lingering light rain or drizzle Friday afternoon into the weekend, but
the bulk of the rain from this next system will be over by Friday midday. There will be
flooding concerns in the west, mainly IA with .50-1.00+" amounts expected in the next 24-36
hours. Temperatures will be on the mild side the next few days with highs in the 40's & 50's,
some 60's southeast. A few degrees cooler this weekend but still seasonable. For the 6-10 day
outlook, March 16-20, mostly above normal temps with near normal south portion. Below normal
precipitation at this time. Mostly above normal temps again on days 11-15, near normal
southeast areas.
NORTHEASTERN U.S.
Highs Wednesday ranged from the 40's in Boston to 60's in DC. Highs tomorrow will be
mostly in the 50's with upper 40's & 50's Friday into the weekend. Above normal temps
for the 6-10 & 11-15 day outlooks except near normal far south both time frames.
SOUTHEASTERN U.S.
Showers were centered over AL & GA today. Highs were in the 50's in the rainiest areas
to 70's west portions. More showers the next few days, ending in the Delta by early
Friday and the Southeast this weekend. Highs will be mostly 60's the next couple days
then cooling to mostly 50's this weekend. Below normal temps and near to below normal
precipitation for the 6-10 day period. Mostly below normal temps for days 11- 15.
